1882 Cavalry Cartouche Pouch and Shoulder Belt

This is the standard Cartridge box for the Martini Henry Carbine ammo. The flap is in nice condition and has slots for a badge to be affixed, the badge impression can be seen in the leather. The lid is stiff and there is a signs of stress at the hinge. The back of the box has suffered exposure to extreme heat with some rippling in the leather finish, not uncommon for this equipment.
